About Tamiko Pettee
My use of color, shape, and texture is inspired by the quiet observations of life: childhood memories, solitude, perseverance, and dignity. Rather than instructing the viewer on what to feel, I leave space for personal connection.
I approach the entire process—from the initial creation and titling to the short poetic reflections, giclée printing, and choice of materials—as an integral part of the artwork itself.
Each piece is produced as a museum-quality edition, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Whether placed in a home, office, or public space, my intention remains the same: to offer a moment of stillness and meaning within the rush of modern life.
